Aktobe rgn to deliver gas to southern Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "The Aktobe region will start delivering gas to southern regions of Kazakhstan in 2015," governor of the region Arkhimed Mukhambetov told a briefing at the Central Communications Service held today in Astana.
"16 companies are engaged in developing minefields in the region so far. One of the largest is CNPC Aktobemunaigas. This year the company completed construction of the third Zhanazhol gas processing plant worth KZT 118 bln. Its capacity will grow by 10% in 2014 and will double in 2015 to reach 6 bln cu m of gas a year," he added. According to him, CNPC Aktobemunaigas expands its own generating power sources completing construction of a USD 150 mln gas turbine station.
