Aktobe residents actively use the Electronic Government portal to receive public services
The range of electronic services has been increasing with each passing year as well as the number of citizens, who have appreciated advantages of the novelties, cf. last year Aktobe residents were provided 176.6 thousand electronic services via the egov.kz, whereas the figure for the first 10 months of 2013 was 422.3 thousand.
Since the beginning of the year, Aktobe PSCs have provided about 30% of public services through the egov.kz.
To use the «Electronic government» site to the utmost requires a digital signature (EDS ), which can be obtained at a PSC's "Self -service" area and stored on a USB flash drive. An EDS is also stored on an ID card chip, which is read using a card reader .
This September every PSC in Aktobe and its region set up "Self-service" areas, which sizeably help save time. These areas have separate workplaces equipped with computers accessed to the internet, printers and card readers. PSC consultants are always ready to help in case of any questions from inexperienced electronic service users, who can independently order a public service in electronic format here and get many of them for free and instantly.
In the "Self-service" areas citizens can receive documents such as address proof statements, certificates of pension savings, certificates of good conduct and many others.
