Akmola region to implement 8 breakthrough projects worth KZT 83 bln in 2010

KOKSHETAU. February 24. KAZINFORM /Zhanmurat Zhanaidarov/ Akmola oblast plans to implement eight breakthrough projects to the sum of KZT 83 bln in 2010, regional Entrepreneurship and Industry Administration informed.

In particular, the projects provide for launch of a gold mine of Vasilkovskiy Ore-Mining Works LLP. This is one of the largest projects of the current year. KZT 72 bln of investments were attracted for its implementation. Around 1, 000 people are expected to be provided with jobs due to it.

KZT 1, 655 bln are to be spent for installation of equipment at Orken-Atansor complex in Yenbekshilder municipality.

KZT 1 bln are envisaged for construction of a greenhouse complex in Stepnogorsk town.

Akkol, Astrakhan, Egindykol municipalities plan to build feed yards. Each of the regions will be provided with KZT 1 bln for this.

A brick production plant with the capacity of 20 mln pieces of bricks per year is to be built in Akkol.
