AISHUAK KHAN

Aishuak Khan (1720-1810) was the khan of Small Zhuz (1797-1805), son of Abilkhair Khan.

In 1748-1749 he was the hostage in Zhamankol (Orsk city). Two years later he was released due to support of Syrym batyr and Yeraly sultan.

In August, 1797 he headed Khan Council of Small Zhuz created by the Tsar Administration. Representatives of different stems of Small Zhuz entered the Council

In October, 1797 Aishuak was elected the khan when he was old and could not take an active part in the politics of Small Zhuz. The same year the uprising of Kazakh people headed by Syrym Datuly was ended.

In 1805 Aishuak Khan was replaced by his son - Zhantore due to his age.
