Air passenger traffic on the rise in Kazakhstan
Air passenger traffic demonstrated a whopping increase of 15% to 6.8 million people in Kazakhstan since the beginning of this year, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.

According to the press service of the Kazakh Prime Minister, Kazakhstani airports handled 11,3 million passengers, more than 21.5% than the same period of last year.
This year, the fleet of domestic airlines has been replenished with five aircraft. The geography of international flights expanded to up to 33 countries with 132 routes and a frequency of 760 flights per week. New routes include GB, Vietnam, Germany, Georgia, Egypt, Qatar, China, Malaysia, the UAE, Thailand and others, said the press service.
Air Astana, FlyArystan, SCAT, Qazaq Air, Yuzhnoye nebo and Zhetysu run domestic flights on 53 routes with a frequency of 640 flights per week.
