Air Astana resumes flights to and from Kazakh capital

Kazakhstan’s Air Astana announced it would resume flights on December 31 as weather has improved in the Kazakh capital, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The airport said its runway is fully operational and would resume flights starting from 07:00 a.m. Two additional flights will be operated between Almaty and Astana to carry the passengers of the canceled flights.

As earlier reported, 40 flights to and from Astana were delayed and 20 more were cancelled on December 30.

200 Kazakhstani passengers stuck in Dubai and 80 more in Istanbul were provided food and hotel accommodations.

All the passengers of the delayed or canceled flights may get a full ticket or a full refund.
