Air Astana and Turkish Airlines signed Code sharing Agreement

The foundation for greater cooperation between Air Astana and Turkish Airlines was laid in March 2013 via signing of a letter of intent which would allow passengers of both airlines to plan their journey in a more flexible manner and to select the most advantageous interlinings with the joint flights accessible through code sharing. In addition, code sharing on flights Almaty - Istanbul and Astana - Istanbul will also include a special prorate agreement for both airlines’ routes flying from the respective hubs in Almaty, Astana and Istanbul.

"Code sharing Agreement will strengthen the organic relationship between the two companies, each of which demonstrates an equal commitment to surpass the world average standards on development while providing exceptional customer service. As a result, customers are able to take advantage of the wide route network of Turkish Airlines and convenient hub airline in Istanbul ", said P.Foster, Air Astana President.
