Air Astana and Scat air companies plan to open new international flights

ASTANA. April 13. KAZINFORM Air Astana and Scat companies plan opening new international flights en route Almaty- Hong Kong, Astana-Ulan Bator, Almaty - Ho Chin Minh, Astana - Beijing, Astana- Kazan, Astana -Tashkent, Astana- Baku, Almaty-Kazan, announced heads of the companies at the meeting of the Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications, chaired by Vice Minister Azat Bekturov, its press service informed.
The Head of the State instructed to open direct air travel with the largest cities of the world in the range of the seven-hour flight.
Almaty -Tbilisi, Almaty - Samara, Shymkent - Istanbul, Astana - Omsk flights have been already opened in 2011.
This March Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications signed a memorandum of understanding with Hong Kong, held talks with the aeronautical authorities of Mongolia. In the near future it is planned to meet with aeronautical authorities of China, India, Jordan and Georgia, the statement reads.
The opening of new international air routes contributes to the development of tourism and trade and economic relations between countries, but also allows to increase the income of domestic airports.
