Aida Balayeva keeps her post as culture and information minister
The Kazakh Head of State reappointed Aida Balayeva as the minister of culture and information of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.
Aida Balayeva is a graduate of the Abai Almaty State University and the Kazakh National Agrarian University.
Balayeva served as the deputy mayor of Astana in 2010-2014.
She headed the internal policy department of the President’s Administration in 2014-2019.
Between 2019 and 2020, she was the assistant to the Kazakh President – head of the department for control over consideration of appeals in the Kazakh President’s Administration.
Until 2022, she served as the Kazakh information and social development minister.
She was the deputy head of the Kazakh President’s Administration in 2022-23.
On September 2, 2023, Balayeva was appointed to the post of the minister of culture and information of Kazakhstan by presidential decree.
