AI-92, 93 gasoline price will increase to KZT 117 – Agency on Regulation of Natural Monopolies

ASTANA. October 4. KAZINFORM - AI - 92.93 most running gasoline in Kazakhstan will increase in price from KZT 110 to 117 per liter, this has been voiced by the Deputy Chairman of the Agency on Regulation of Natural Monopolies (NMRA) Amanzhol Alpysbayev.
"The decision to change the price has been made only towards AI - 92, 93 gasoline from 110 to 117 tenge per liter including VAT, as local market's gasoline brand depends on supplies from the Russian Federation up to 40%. Joint order of NMRA with ministries of oil and gas, economy and budget planning will be signed next week until October 12", said Alpysbayev.
The decision to raise petrol price, as explained the head of the NMRA, was made due to changes in the values of character sets for crude oil brand which were USD 109 per barrel in August and USD 113.68 in September.
