Agrts signed at business forum in Pavlodar

PAVLODAR. September 19. KAZINFORM Eight agreements were signed during the business forum "Development of cooperation in the sphere of innovations and industry between Kazakhstan and Russia," the press service of the Kazakhstan Development Bank informed.

The event was held on September 18 on the threshold of the IX Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia. The organizers of the business forum are Kazakhstan Development Bank, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, and Vnesheconombank of Russia.

In particular, JSC "Development Bank of Kazakhstan" and LLP "Evraz Caspian Stal" signed agreement on a joint project to build a small section of the camp complex in Kostanay with the capacity of 450 thousand tons of rebar per year.

Business structures of the two countries concluded the following agreements:

- Cooperation Agreement between JSC "National Agency for Technological Development" (Kazakhstan) and LLP "KE Group" (Russia) on the establishment of information technology in the SEZ "Park of innovative technologies";

- Agreement on cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce of Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan and Chamber of Commerce of the Saratov region of the Russian Federation;

- Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between JSC "Entrepreneurship Development Fund "Damu" and JSC "Sberbank of Russia" on promotion of private enterpreneurship in the border areas of Kazakhstan through the provision of financial and non-financial support measures to entrepreneurs of the Customs Union states.

Totally, a package of agreements worthy USD 2 billion will be signed within the IX Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.
