Agreement on lease of land plots in Issyk-Kul region ratified

BISHKEK. January 20. KAZINFORM /Yevgeniy Novikov/ "Ak zhol" faction of Zhogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) approved a draft law "On ratification of the Agreement on lease of land plots in Issyk-Kul district, Issyk-Kul region, Kyrgyzstan, between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan" Wednesday, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reports.
Totally 58 hectares are planned to be allocated to Kazakhstan. According to the Agreement, after registration of property rights the Kazakh side should provide employment of Kyrgyz citizens and modernization of hotels to 4 and 5 star level.
The members of the faction suggested the Kyrgyz Government to control over fulfillment of obligations by the Kazakh side in accordance with the agreement ratified before.
