Aftermath of the Proton fall will be discussed in Baikonur
"On Thursday, August 1, at Baikonur there will be held a sitting on the results of the commission's work concerning the aftermath of the crash of the Russian carrier rocket", informed Altai Abibullayev.
According to him, the meeting will take place in the framework of the working visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Minister of Regional Development Bakhytzhan Sagintayev to Kyzylorda region.
"During the visit Deputy Prime Minister will see a number of sites, including the Aral dam, the Aral fish processing plant and other social significant objects," he added.
Abibullaev also said that Bahytzhan Sagintayev, Minister of Environment Mr. Kapparov, and chairman of the National Space Agency Talgat Musabayev will be examining the place of the rocket's fall.
Note: Fall and explosion of the carrier rocket "Proton-M" with three GLONASS satellites occurred on July 2 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. At the site of the incident there was a fire, a cloud with the products of combustion. There were no victims and injured as well as the destruction of the complex.
