Afghanistan grateful to Kazakhstan for its efforts on country's stabilization

During the talk Z. Rassoul noted important role of Kazakhstan in stabilization of Afghanistan and expressed appreciation to Kazakh Leader Nursultan Nazarbayev for consistent policy and assistance in creation of conditions for peaceful development of this country. The Afghan Minister thanked Kazakhstan for provision of humanitarian aid and launch of educational program for the Afghan students in our country, the press service of the Kazakh MFA informs.

"Afghanistan is grateful to Kazakhstan as the OSCE presiding country for attraction of resources of the Organization for solution of the Afghan problem and firmly supports Kazakh President's initiative on holding the OSCE Summit in Astana. Rehabilitation of Afghanistan could become one of the major themes of the agenda of the Summit", Z. Rassoul said.

The parties also noted both countries' huge potential for cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats. Issues of further development of partnership will be considered within the upcoming visit of OSCE Chairman-in-Office Kanat Saudabayev to Kabul.
