Aerial survey shows absence of floods threat in Kostanay

KOSTANAY. KAZINFORM - Special flood commission has flown around the northwestern territory of the city of Kostanay, according to the press service of the regional Department for Emergency situations.
The commission analyzed the situation on Karatomarskoye, Verhne-Tobolskoye, Zhelkuarskoye and Verhne-Shortandynskoye reservoirs. Shevchenkovskaya dam was also examined. There are no ice jams on the rivers and lakes of the region. Flood zones were not observed. No flood zones. Snow cover is partially preserved in the fields of Zhitikara, Denisovskoye and Taranovskiy districts". The movement of water on the Tobol River is estimated at 270 cubic meters per second.
