Accounts committee chairman reports to Head of State

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Chairman of the accounts committee K. Dzhanburchin informed Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, on the main results of the audit committee and the prospects of financial control development, the press service of Akorda informs.

Nursultan Nazarbayev has familiarized with the performance results of regional audit committees, and the committees of Almaty and Astana. The President stressed the importance of improving the quality of budgetary planning, coordination of activities of the state financial control, as well as strict control over the effective use of budget funds. K.Dzhanburchin reported that over 8 months of the current year accounts committee has carried out 16 control and analytical activities in 186 facilities. The total amount of violations has increased by 1.2 times and amounted to KZT 342.3 billion including financial irregularities - KZT 168,6 billion. 77 officers have been brought to responsibilities of various types. Following the meeting, the Head of State gave a number of specific instructions to improve the activities of public financial control and strengthen the prevention of financial irregularities.
