Accounts Committee attracts USAID experts for development of bill "On Accounts Committee"

The parties focused on the prospects of carrying out parallel audit of efficiency of utilization of the state loans. Besides, O. Oxikbayev expressed interest in holding trainings on audit by the USAID experts and invited them to work together over the bill "On Accounts Committee".
The USAID expert confirmed his readiness for cooperation with the Kazakh Accounts Committee in improvement of the system of state financial control.
Since Sep 2008 the Accounts Committee has been cooperating with the USAID within the project on raising competitiveness through economic reforms. USAID is an independent governmental organization headed by the US Sec of State. Its activity is directed on support of the country's international interests and raising the quality and life standards of people in developing countries, promotion of democracy and free market.
Accounts Committee is the supreme body of financial control, performing external control over the execution of the republican budget, directly subordinate and accountable to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
