ANA. February 19. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ According to non-official point count Kazakhstan ranks the 20th in Olympic Games in Vancouver; Acting Director of the Directorate for Staff National Commands and Sport Reserve Temirlan Nurseitov has informed of it.
"Today according to non-official point count our country ranks the 20th. We share this place with other four commands. We can be upgraded as well. I think it is a good result", - he has said it during the press-conference today in Astana.
As earlier reported, the displays of skier Aleksey Poltoranin (5th place), figure-skater Denis Ten (11th place), ice-skater Dmitry Babenko (15th place), biathlete, silver winner Yelena Khrustalyova and skier Nikolay Karpenko which entered the 30 of the strongest jump-skiers can be considered as the successful ones.
