Access to Persian Gulf opens exciting opportunities for Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Iran will grant Kazakhstan access to the Persian Gulf region, says Chairman of the National Bank Kairat Kelimbetov.
"Soon, Kazakhstan will get access to the Iranian railway system and in the long view this is the shortest way for the Central Asian countries to the Persian Gulf, the region of huge opportunities in terms of agriculture and raw material industry," K. Kelimbetov said at the conference dedicated to Eurasian transport integration on Wednesday. Earlier it was reported that the railway connecting Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran and the Persian Gulf will be unveiled in December with participation of the presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
