Above 50 HIV-positives recorded in Karaganda rgn since the beginning of year

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM Above 50 HIV-positives and 10 AIDS-infected have been registered in the Karaganda region since the beginning of the year, the AIDS control centre said.
52 cases were recorded across the region for the past two months. The number of HIV-positives and AIDS-infected people has grown by 3 cases as compared to the same period of 2013. HIV is spread most often through sexual contact up to 70.6%. Almost half of the detected HIV-positives are women, the press release reads.
