About 50 thousand people undergo education within 'Employment-2020'

"49795 people are embraced with vocational education within the first direction of the Employment Program - "Education and assistance in employment of self-employed, unemployed and low-income people", the statement of the Ministry reads.

Besides, according to the Ministry of Education,38282 people undergo vocational training courses, 9841 people - retraining courses and 1776 people - qualification development courses.

In whole, 10 thousand people of those who have already finished their study are employed. 9841 people of them are employed to permanent jobs, 420 people - to social jobs and 354 people are sent to youth practices.

The statement also reads that the biggest number of people employed is in Kostanay, Atyrau, South Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions.

Besides, in order to organize social jobs, contracts with more than 5.6 thousand employers have been signed. It provided an opportunity to provide jobs for more than 23 thousand people.

It should be noted that the average monthly salary made KZT 45.5 thousand. After working on social jobs, over 2 thousand people are employed to permanent jobs and 288 people are employed to permanent jobs after undergoing youth practices.

As earlier reported, the first direction of the Program - "Education and assistance in employment of self-employed, unemployed and low-income people" is aimed at ensuring stable and productive employment though assistance in employment at places of residence. It will also embrace self-employed, unemployed and low-income people.
