About 40% of children live below poverty line in Brussels

BRUSSELS. KAZINFORM About 19% or 420,000 children under 18 years of age live below the poverty line in Belgium, the local media reported. The poverty level stands at Euro 2,100 for a family of four and Euro 1,600 for a one-parent family with two children.
About 20,8% of children live below the poverty threshold in Europe on an average, they said.
