About 20,000 Kazakhstan residents overseas to vote in presidential election

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - About 20 thousand Kazakhstan residents living overseas will vote in the early election of the President of Kazakhstan, this has been announced today by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Erlan Idrissov.
He said that the diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan have organized 65 precinct election commissions (PEC). The PECs are provided with the necessary infrastructure and materials. Kazakhstan Embassies are carrying out briefings and other outreach activities. According to his words, to date about 170 foreign journalists, wishing to travel to Kazakhstan and cover the election, have received official accreditation in the Foreign Ministry. Mr. Idrissov noted that the Ministry has organized a press center to host briefings and interviews.
