A. Shakirov participated in Economic Cooperation Organization sitting in Tehran

Human Rights Commissioner of Kazakhstan Askar Shakirov, the head of the Kazakhstan's delegation, took part in the forum held on May 21-22. The Kazakh Ombudsman familiarized the participants of the event with the activities of the state to ensure the rights of its citizens, improvement of the legislation and law enforcement practice and informed the participants about the realization of the anti-corruption policy of Kazakhstan.

The final document of the sitting reflected the common opinion on necessity of strengthening the international and regional cooperation against corruption which is a destabilizing factor shattering constitutional framework of the legal regulation and national security of the country.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad received the participants of the event.
