A/H1N1 flu cases in Laos rise to 156

HANOI. August 5. KAZINFORM Laos reported 43 more cases of A/H1N1influenza, raising the country's total number of flu patients to 156, Lao newspaper the Vientiane Times reported Wednesday; Kazinform refers to China View.
So far, A/H1N1 flu cases have been recorded in 14 districts of eight provinces in Laos, said the newspaper. The Mittaphab Hospital in Lao capital city of Vientiane was chosen to be the main hospital to treat flu patients.
As the number of A/H1N1 cases continues to rise, Lao Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh asked health officials to take more measures to deal with the A/H1N1 influenza so that the situation in Laos is kept under control; Kazinform cites China View.
