A. Ahmadzai: Kazakhstan is an important partner for Afghanistan
The event was attended by delegations from 34 countries. Minister A. Sarinzhipov has been personally received by Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai. The head of the IRA said that Kazakhstan is "an important friend and a positive example for Afghanistan". He highlighted the activities of President Nursultan Nazarbayev who has made "phenomenal results" in the state's development. A. Sarinzhipov also met with First Vice President of the IRA, Army General Abdul Rashid Dostum. A senior representative of Afghanistan stressed that the country sees Kazakhstan as a friendly and brotherly state which supported Afghan people in the difficult period of transition. He thanked Kazakhstan for timely humanitarian assistance to victims of natural disasters occurred in the northern provinces Jowzjan and Badakhshan. During his visit to Kabul A. Sarinzhipov met with ministers of trade and industry, finance, education, rehabilitation and development of rural areas, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, members of parliament and representatives of business circles of Afghanistan.
