87% of Astana school graduates to pass unified national test in 2011

ASTANA. April 28. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ 87% of school graduates of Astana will pass the unified national test this year, Head of the municipal education administration Assima Bimendina says.
"3, 575 students will finish school this year. 87% of them will pass the unified national testing. However, the exact number of the graduates who want to pass the test will be announced in May", she noted.
According to A. Bimendina, the rest of the students (13%) will pass traditional examinations due to several reasons, primarily because of studying abroad or illness. "The number of students planning to pass the unified national testing in 2012 may increase", she clarified.
