According to her words, conducted by the Institute survey showed the residents' strengthening opinions about the Government's inaction.

"On October 26-31 our institute conducted a telephone survey among the residents of Kazakhstan. The first question was: "Were the representatives of state bodies interested in your problems and challenges of your community?". Positive answers gave only 18% of the respondents", said the director of the association.

"Programs that are accepted and implemented by the state are often of no interest for society and they do not satisfy the needs of the population. Generally speaking, 85 % of respondents said that they are fully agree with the criticism of the Head of State towards the Government. The population believes it was justified, reasonable and absolutely fair", added Kuchinskaya.

Moreover Kuchinskaya has noted that the Government was an active user of public survey results but the problem was that it often made the emphasis on positive, satisfying observations. Negative data are usually left out of account.

It should be noted that the survey covered both urban and rural residents of the 14 regions and the cities of Astana and Almaty.
