80,000 m2 of housing to be commissioned in Astana under Affordable Housing 2020

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - In 2015 in the framework of "Affordable Housing 2020" program 82.2 thousand square meters of housing will be put in operation in Astana, this has been said by Mayor of the capital Adilbek Dzhaksybekvov during the reporting meeting with citizens.
In 2015 82.2 thousand square meters of housing (1,428 apartments) will be put into operation under "Affordable Housing 2020" program. 65.4 thousand square meters of housing (1,181 apartments) will be commissioned under the same program in 2016," said the Governor. According to his words, 2507 apartments with the total area of 158.5 thousand square meters are scheduled to be commissioned in the first half of 2015 (housing construction program for 2008-2010). He added that the slum clearance program will be continued in the capital.
