8 teachers kidnapped in NW Pakistan

According to the sources, some unidentified gunmen abducted eight high school teachers and a guard in Hangu when they were on their way to school in a vehicle on early Wednesday morning.

Police and local people were reportedly chasing the militants for the release of abducted school teachers.

Crossfire between the militants and police was also reported and the police chief in Hangu was supervising the operation; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
