8 drowned in Kazakhstan over last 24 hours

A 27-year-old man, citizen of the Russian Federation, drowned while swimming in Astana, City Park. The body was recovered from water at 5:35 p.m.

Besides, a 17-year old young man drowned when swimming in the Ishim River, Astana. His body was recovered from water at 11:40 p.m.

A 9-year-old girl drowned in the Bolshaya Almatinka River, Almaty. Her body was recovered at 2:30 p.m.

A 42-year-old man drowned when swimming in Alakol district of Almaty region. The body was recovered from water at 6 p.m.

Besides, a 23-year-old man also drowned while fishing, he fell from the boat and drowned. His body was recovered from water by his relatives at 7:10 p.m.

Accidents of this kind also happened in Aktobe, East Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan informs.
