720 thousand sq m of housing commissioned in Almaty region in 2014

KASKELEN. KAZINFORM - 720 thousand square meters of housing was commissioned in Almaty region last year. Almost a half of the total commissioned housing was in Karasai district, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev told at the forum "Auylym-altyn besigim" held within his working trip to the region.

"Obviously, close proximity of such a big city as Almaty has a positive impact on development of the district. The fact that 20 big enterprises work in one Karasai district means a lot. One third of the produced by them products is sold in Almaty," N. Nazarbayev said.

The Head of State noted that all the work held in the region is aimed at increasing the prosperity of the people. Three outpatient clinics and one big kindergarten were commissioned in Karasai district last year. Similar work is being carried out in all the districts of Almaty region.

"We have achieved it thanks to tireless work of our people. The dreams of our ancestors became a reality. We have great goals ahead that we will be able to achieve because of you and your support only," the President added.
