7 people rescued in apartment fire in Astana
Seven people have been saved in a fire that engulfed the Budapest residential building in the Kazakh capital, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the emergency situations department of the city.
Fire crews tackled the fire broke out in the kitchen of the apartment on the 10th floor of the Budapest residential building on Kabanbay batyr 59 Avenue in Astana.
In the firefighting work, seven people, including three children, from the neighboring apartment were saved. The fire was put out at 10:35am. No victims and injured were reported.
28 personnel and seven vehicles of Astana’s emergency situations department were involved in the firefighting works.
According to the department, driveways for firefighting vehicles were hindered by motor transport.
