6.7 magnitude quake hits Fiji region

BEIJING. April 3. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter Scale hit Fiji region at 10:07 p.m. Beijing Time Sunday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The epicenter was monitored at 17.6 degrees south latitude and 178.6 degrees west longitude with a depth of about 540 kilometers, the center said. Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
