6.4 mln sq m of housing commissioned in Kazakhstan in 2010 - S. Nokin

ASTANA. January 24. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ 6.4 million square meters of housing were put into service in 2010. Chairperson of Kazakh Agency for Construction, Housing and Utilities Serik Nokin said it at the Governmental Hour in the Majilis on Monday.
"Last year the volume of construction works exceeded KZT 1.9 trillion; quantum index was 101% as compared to 2009. 6.4 million sq. m. of housing, which amounted to 103% of the planned volume, were put into operation", S. Nokin said.
According to him, KZT 317 billion was pumped into housing construction from all financial sources. This is 97.9% as compared to 2009.
