6.0-magtitude quake jolts northeast Japan

BEIJING. March 31. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted the waters off the east coast of Honshu, Japan at 15:15 p.m. Beijing Time Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Network Center. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The epicenter, with a depth of 40 km, was monitored at 38.9 degrees north latitude and 142.1 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement. Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
