5th ‘KAZENERGY – 2010’ Eurasian Forum kicks off in Astana

ASTANA. October 5. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The 5th 'KAZENERGY - 2010' Eurasian Forum has been opened today in Astana. It is one of the most prestigious events in this sphere of the Caspian region.
'Eurasian Energy Map: balance of risks and new opportunities' will be the topic to discuss at the 5th Forum. The representatives of several countries and heads of many major international organizations and companies are to take part in it.
The participants of the Forum will discuss the issues of ensuring energy stability and security of the region during two working days of the Forum.
Besides, it is planned to discuss the prospects of development of global energy, forming of innovative technologies in the sphere and measures to be taken for minimizing risk for stable development and development of alternative energy sources.
