58 people killed in accidents in H1 2013 in N Kazakhstan

PETROPAVLOVSK. July 20. KAZINFORM 408 accidents and emergency situations of natural and man-made character have been registered in North Kazakhstan region in the first half of 2013. 79 people were injured, 58 people of them were killed.
The material damage amounted to KZT 170 million.
60 people were injured in the man-made emergencies, 38 of them were killed.
354 industrial and household fire acidents occurred over the mentioned period. 55 people were injured; 28, including five children were killed.
In comparison with the same period of the last year, the number of fires decreased by 26%, property damage - by 46%, but the number of deaths by 17% is increased, the Department of Emergency of the North Kazakhstan region reported.
