54 residential estates put into operation within Affordable Housing 2020 Program in 1st half 2013

"54 residential estates with 4,400 apartments have been commissioned for six months of the year. One part of depositors already received their loans, and moved to their houses, the other part prepares the documents for getting loans," Sharipov noted.

According to him, 81 residential buildings will be commissioned until the end of the year and more than 6.5 thousand customers will receive their apartments.

"As you know, the building of houses is carried out by akimats, and the task of the bank is to finance and purchase housing. More than 23 thousand applications have been received. People's interest in the program "Affordable Housing" is growing rapidly. If in January people were not actively involved in the program, today in some regions 4-5 people apply for 1 apartment. The competition is very high," Sharipov said.

In addition, he reported that to date, the bank transferred 15.9 billion tenge to the akimats. This amount consists of depositors' funds, bank’s funds and credit from the state budget. About half of this amount is the money of depositors.

157 agreements for the construction of 12,764 apartments have been concluded.
