536 students joined Nazarbayev University Foundation Program

ASTANA. August 12. KAZINFORM 536 people joined the preparatory program (Foundation) of the Nazarbayev University in the new academic year, according to the press service of the university, Kazinform has learnt from primeminister.kz.
These candidates have successfully passed all the exams to study at Nazarbayev University.
Thus, the number of candidates who have passed the entrance examination in accordance with the minimum requirements is more than 800 people, while last year the number of candidates was 600.
The most popular among the enrollees are the School of Engineering and the School of Science and Technology (43%), the rest have chosen the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (14%).
Most of the enrolled candidates come from Astana, Almaty and East Kazakhstan region. The least number of students are from Mangystau and North Kazakhstan regions.
The total number of students at Nazarbayev University in the fourth academic year will be more than 2,100.
