53 projects of Industrialization Map implemented in Pavlodar rgn

Investment volume amounted to KZT 230 billion. Five projects worth KZT 75.3 billion tenge were completed in 2013 creating 457 permanent jobs. Industrialization Map projects focus mainly on meeting the demands of industrial enterprises in the region which were covered by import. According to official statistics, within the period of Jan-Oct 2013 the volume of imports in the Pavlodar region decreased by USD 900 million to 1.9 billion. The volume of enterprises' export in the area increased by 2.4 percent, from USD1.6 billion to 1.7 billion.

The second phase of the smelting plant worth KZT 39.8 billion was completed in Pavlodar region. The total capacity of the plant is 250 thousand tons, it employs 1,635 people. In Pavlodar there have been introduced the production of chlorine, caustic soda, hydrochloric acid which provided the domestic market with chemical raw materials.

In Ekibastuz there has been established a factory with the production capacity of 3 thousand freight wagons per year. Robots and microprocessor technology as well as transforming stands extend the production line. In the past year, the company produced 1,501 high sided wagons.

In addition, there has been restored the Aksu Therman Power Plant's block number 2 with the capacity of 325 MW, thus, the level of ash collection increased to 99.6%.

In Ekibastuz was built "Orica - Kazakhstan" factory producing components of emulsion explosives for mining industry.

Kazakhstan Electrolysis Plant started production of calcined anodes which replaced imports from China, Russia and Ukraine and reduced the cost of production of primary aluminum in Pavlodar.

In total under the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development (SPAIID) by 2018 there will be implemented 85 projects worth KZT 1078 billion. According to the action plan there will be created more than 29 thousand of new jobs including 19,467 jobs during construction and 9960 during operation.
