5 people drowned across Kazakhstan

ASTANA. July 22. KAZINFORM A 20-year-old man drowned while swimming in a ditch on July 19 in Ust-Kamenogorsk, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies reports.

On July 21, three rescuers of the emergency department of North Kazakhstan region found and removed the body from the water.

One more accident took place in the same region. A 21-year-old man drowned while swimming in Bukhtarma reservoir. His body was taken out of the water two hours later by rescuers of the region's emergency department.

Another case happened in West Kazakhstan. A 24-year-old man drowned while swimming in the Saryozen River. The body was found by the locals. Another man of the same age drowned in Lake Teren in Almaty region. The search for the bodies continues.

A 54-year-old woman drowned in the Tobol River in Alekseyevka village in Kostanay region. Four rescuers and two units of the region's emergency department equipment arrived to the scene to take the body out of the water.
