5 healthcare facilities to be commissioned in Astana in 2015

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Astana city administration considers development of the sphere of healthcare as one of the priorities of its work, says Astana mayor Adilbek Dzhaksybekov.

At the meeting with population of the city on Wednesday mayor Dzhaksybekov talked about the steps taken to develop the sphere. "This year it is planned to complete construction of 5 healthcare facilities. These are an outpatient clinic on the left bank, a primary healthcare center in Ilinka village, a children's infectious 250-bed hospital, a medical and social rehabilitation 250-bed center. A tuberculosis 500-bed dispensary will be commissioned in 2016," Adilbek Dzhaksybekov said. In his words, it will help ease the situation with lack of healthcare facilities in the Kazakh capital.
