5 die in road accident on Karaganda-Astana road

5 people were killed in a road accident on Karaganda-Astana road, Kazinform Agency cites Polisia.kz.
According to the police department of Karaganda region, a driver of a Ford Ranger vehicle heading to Karaganda city from Astana lost control and hit a road worker and collided with a truck Kamaz 50km from Osakarovka village, Osakarovskiy district on Karaganda-Astana road at around 3:00 pm on October 9.
As a result of the accident, the roadman, driver and three passengers of Ford Ranger car died from the sustained injuries on the spot.
An investigation into the accident has been launched.
Earlier it was reported that two boys aged 7 and 8 had drowned in one day in an artificial pond in one of the villages in Pavlodar region.
