5, 300 jobs to be created under Road Map 2010 program in N Kazakhstan

Realization of investment projects, training and retraining personnel, expansion of the program of social jobs and youth procurement will remain the major directions of the region's Road Map for the current year.

According to the statistics, more than 28, 500 unemployed people found jobs under the regional Program of Employment in 2009 which made 114% of the plan. 24, 461 of them were employed through the employment bodies. 14, 930 new jobs were created. 596 people were provided with social jobs.

4, 600 people were sent to public work. 2, 100 unemployed people passed various vocational training courses.

In order to implement the 2009-2010 Action Plan on preservation of jobs and social support of the disadvantaged groups of the population there were signed memorandums on social protection of the workers with 457 enterprises of the region.
