4th summit of Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States kicks off in Bodrum

The summit has being attended by the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and heads of state of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. Opening the forum, Turkish President Abdullah Gul thanked all delegates for their participation in the event. He also expressed confidence that the 4th summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States will give a new impetus to further cooperation of the member-states. Head of the Turkish Republic noted the importance of partnership in various areas including economic, social and cultural spheres, as well as in the tourism industry. It bears to remind that one of the main topics of the round table is the cooperation in the sphere of tourism. According to the Secretariat of the Turkic Council, the parties have already agreed to adopt a joint vacation package called "Turkic Council is a modern Silk Road". In addition, it was agreed to hold joint educational programs and training courses.
