443 projects implemented within Industrialization Map over 2.5 years
"The social importance of the projects in the context of industrial-innovative development is absolute. This program remains the main direction of economic modernization," President of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev said in his recent State-of-the-Nation Address.
The Industrialization Map of Kazakhstan includes 706 investment projects worth 11.4 trillion tenge. 400 thousand new jobs will be created as a result of their implementation. Thereat, 443 projects worth 1.8 trillion tenge were already implemented over 2.5 years.
Service centers for investors providing a wide range of support tools includes those provided within the Business Road Map - 2020 and Productivity - 2020 Program were established in the regions to support implementation of the regional projects.
Besides, 39 big strategic infrastructural and industrial projects oriented at export are also implemented within the national Industrialization Map. These projects makes 6% of the total number of projects, however, the amount of investments in these projects makes 70% of the total amount of investments to the Map or 7.8 trillion tenge.
It is worth noting that a list of 20 promising projects worth 4.3 trillion tenge was formed in addition to the national Map. In accordance with the estimates of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, the launch of these projects will result in 7% GDP growth.
In accordance with the President's Address to the Nation, implementation of 11 biggest infrastructural projects will be started this year.
Kazakhstan has formed an institutional framework of implementation of the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development as a basis for construction of the economy of a new type aimed at implementation of industrial projects with high level of technological conversion.
