42 investment projects underway in Pavlodar region

Retooling and modernization of the operating enterprises and job execution at new construction sites were discussed at conference call held by Head of the region Bakhytzhan Sagintayev.

 Kazakhstan Electrolytic Plant is working on the second stage of pure aluminum production scheduled on the first quarter next year. Equipment installation in "Kaustik" JSC is underway where chlorine and caustic soda will be developed according to the modern membrane technology. The third power unit will be constructed at Ekibastuz State District Power Plant-2 (GRES-2). These three enterprises enter the national list of the breakthrough facilities.

 Four innovation facilities have been already launched in the region. Five facilities amounted to KZT 10 bln will be put into operation at the end of the year. They are the agglomerative workshop at Aksusk Ferroalloy Plant with capacity of 350 thousand tons per a year and asphalt-concrete manufacture in Maysk district. A large high sided wagon enterprise will be established in Ekisbastuz "Taman" LLP which is going to to be launched in 2011.

 B. Saginatyev noted that the implementation of facilities is held dynamically according to the Presidential Program of new industrialization.
