4 Kazakh biathletes to vie in men’s 20km individual at World Championships
Four Kazakhstani athletes are to compete in the men’s 20km individual race at the ongoing 2025 Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) this Wednesday, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan.

Vladislav Kireyev, Vadim Kurales, Asset Dyussenov and Alexandr Mukhin are set to represent Kazakhstan in the men’s 20km individual competition at the Biathlon World Championships.
It’s worth noting that Kireyev and Kurales brought Kazakhstan the biathlon men's 10km sprint gold and silver, respectively, at the Harbin Asian Winter Games.
Kazakhstan’s biathlon squad of Alexander Mukhin, Asset Dyussenov, Kirill Bauer, and Vladislav Kireyev secured second place in the men’s 4×7.5km relay event at the 9th Asian Winter Games.
The men’s 20km individual race is set to begin at 7:05pm Astana time.
