4 Kazakh athletes to participate in ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships quarterfinals
Today, December 4, four Kazakh boxers are to step into the ring at the ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships in Chiang Mai, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.
A total of 4 Kazakhstani athletes will fight in the quarterfinals bouts against following athletes:
48 kg: Aigerim Sattybayeva - Ofelia Magno (the Philippines);
54 kg: Symbat Aliaskar - Chinese boxer;
67 kg: Dulat Bekbauov - Ariff Aiman Muhammad (Malaysia);
71 kg. Ablaikhan Zhussupov - Bayramdurdy Nurmuhammedov (Turkmenistan).
Dias Molzhigitov (75kg) automatically propelled to the semifinals, guaranteeing himself a medal at the ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships.
It was earlier reported that Alua Balkibekova had withdrawn from the competition due to health problems.
